Welcome
This site helps residents report bicycle thefts and gives officers the tools to manage reports and reduce crime. Please choose the appropriate login or read the guidance below to learn how to protect your bicycle.
How to report a bicycle theft
- Check your immediate area and ask nearby businesses or residents for CCTV.
- Report the theft to Gloucestershire Constabulary via the public log in page or by calling the non-emergency number.
- Provide a description of the bicycle: make, model, colour, frame number and any distinguishing marks.
- Upload any photos or CCTV clips when prompted in the report form.
Prevention tips
- Use a strong D-lock and secure the frame and both wheels to an immovable object.
- Register your bicycle with a national database and note the frame number.
- Store your bike indoors or in a locked shed where possible; avoid leaving it unattended overnight.
- Mark your belongings and take photos — it helps identification if recovered.
